Do you believe that all these would take you to Heaven

No!,No!,No! and No!

None of these assures you of a place in heaven.
but the following Would
1.Accept and acknowlegde your Sins and your sinful Nature
2.Acknowledge the power of God to Save you
3.Acknowledge the provision of God Through the Birth and death of Jesus Christ to Save You'
4.Accept and Acknowlegde Jesus Christ as you Lord And Personal Saviour
5.Confess with you lips that Jesus is Lord and He Died that you might have life
6.Ask Him into your life to be the master and lord of it
7.Share this with others so that they would no Perish

Personal Testimony

Imagine if the angel of God who has been the Guardian Angel of a particular Church for over 2000 years keeps on hearing about Jesus turning water into wine or raising Lazarus; at every church gathering he attends.I am very sure this angel would simply get tired and might even begin doze off at church(if that was permissible for angels).
How much more we mortals ,who are always yearning for new things ,new life and freshness.
The reason most people,especially the youth are refusing to go to church these days is that we are refusing to acknowledge the work of God in our present lives.We want to take credit for the success and achievements that occur in our lives.And even when we know that a miracle has occurred in our lives we attribute it to luck.In fact most children now know all the bible stories and parables that it has lost it meaning to them and has just become stories and tales.
Let us be grateful to God ,let us acknowledge His work in our lives and lets us share our testimonies with others ,so that others would be encouraged .Let us realise that our God is a Dynamic one and is doing new things in our lives

The Wicked Shall Not Go Unpunished

Proverbs 11:21

Though hand join in hand the wicked shall not be unpunished but the seed of the righteous shall be delivered

How many times in our lives do we not compromise our Faith in other to ' fit in'.In Business,Play ,Home etc.The Modern Christian is making choices;He is joining unbelievers to commit unchristian acts.
BUT the Bible says in Proverbs 11:21
that

Though hand join in hand the wicked shall not be unpunished but the seed of the righteous shall be delivered

You shall not go unpunished

11For He will give His angels [especial] charge over you to accompany and defend and preserve you in all your ways [of obedience and service].

12They shall bear you up on their hands, lest you dash your foot against a stone.

13You shall tread upon the lion and adder; the young lion and the serpent shall you trample underfoot.

14Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore will I deliver him; I will set him on high, because he knows and understands My name [has a personal knowledge of My mercy, love, and kindness--trusts and relies on Me, knowing I will never forsake him, no, never].

15He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.

16With long life will I satisfy him and show him My salvation.

Men are the most amazing creatures in existance,they seem wise at one time and Foolish the very next minute.If not so ,how then can a man say that

Prayer does not work when he hasn't tried it.
God does not exist when he has not searched for Him
there is no creator of man when that very same man lays claim to many creations

Until you sincerely seek you won't find,
Show me a man who has searched for God and did not find him and I would show you a LIAR.
Show me a man who says there is no creator and I would show you a FOOL

What is thy Destination ,Mortal Man!!!!!

Two men wanted to go a Land that they had heard was very prosperous and beautiful.Since none of them knew the location,they had to find out from others.
The met several people who offered them advice,some told them of short-cuts and quick routes.
But they also met the prince of that Land who had the following to say.
"My land exists,But there is no route to it apart from the one I'm going to lead you through,just follow me and I would FREELY lead you there.The road is a difficult one but I can assure you that if you rely on me ,you would get there."
One of the men opted for the short-cut and the other opted for the guidance of the prince.
The prince is Jesus,The Land is Life after Death,Jesus is offering to guide us freely to ethernity with Him in heaven.He is telling us that we only have to follow Him and He would bring us to an expected end.

Which path are you taking,what is your vision.
There is no short-cut anywhere for the Bible says "There is a way that seems right to a man but in the end it leads to his death".Make the right choice,choose the right path.

What is the benefit of life if you can not "enjoy" it as you please.What are all these Mad christians talking about.What do they know that I do not know.What they say does not make scientific sense.There is no Heaven or Hell;they can't prove it
STOP!!!!!

You may have any of the above ideas and philosophies but ask yourself the following
questions
WHAT IF THEY ARE RIGHT
WHAT IF THERE IS A GOD
WHAT IF THERE IS A JUDGEMENT DAY
WHAT IF I NEED SALVATION
WHAT IF THERE IS ETERNITY

Dear God ,I`m in a happy mood today so lets commune together.
God go and get me a Car,a better one than my friend`s
God,I have already made my decision so I don`t need you now;maybe later
etc.
Does this attitude sound familier.Is this to a God or to a Dog?.
does it not sound like the way we command our dogs?.
When we feel like playing we call them
when we don`t feel like playing we send them to the corner.They don`t have a say in what we do.
Is GOD your GOD or your DOG?

A Valley of Dry Bones -Ezekiel 37:4 part 2

5 This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Look! I am going to put breath into you and make you live again! 6 I will put flesh and muscles on you and cover you with skin. I will put breath into you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord.’”
7 So I spoke this message, just as he told me. Suddenly as I spoke, there was a rattling noise all across the valley. The bones of each body came together and attached themselves as complete skeletons. 8 Then as I watched, muscles and flesh formed over the bones. Then skin formed to cover their bodies, but they still had no breath in them.

Verse 5-8

Here the Lord said Something.He said I would put breath into you.Breath signifies life,the spirit of God within man.Then He would put flesh and muscles.
Looking at verse 7 we realize something significant in the sequence which the Lord used for restoration

He attacked the foundation;the bones are useless if they don't come together to form a skeleton.The skeleton is the underlying framework of the body.Similarly to solve your problem ,you need to identify the root of the problem,if it is your broken marriage,then identify what caused it.It is only when you know the cause that you can salvage the situation.Don't just jump into patching up the external,touch the core situation.Get the skeleton together
He goes on to add Muscle and Flesh (in that order) to hold the bones together,what are your muscles ?,the core values you use to govern your life.It should be God-centered to enable it to hold the bones together in stormy situations.
Then the Skin.Most of us would like to add the skin first.The Skin is the outward manifestation of a solution.We sometimes prefer that people see that how children are happy,our marriage is going on strong ,our body is well etc .All these we want,whiles there is an inner decay.The Skin should be the last.And to put the skin,we need action,the skin becomes healthy when you feed it.you marriage becomes healthy when you give it attention.your finances grow when you work on it.its not automatic.
Finally ... but they still had no breath in them. What does that mean.It means that physically everything is alright but spiritually everything is dead.The Breath is the spirit of the living God dwelling within us.It is that which quickens our mortal bodies.It has to become part of the total package or else the package would collapse at the onset of a storm.The truth of life is that you DON'T NEED GOD TO excel but YOU NEED HIM TO CONTINUE BEING EXCELLENT AT ALL TIMES;in and out of storms.

A Valley of Dry Bones -Ezekiel 37:4 part 1

This Is an interesting passage in the Bible that speaks great things about Christianity.

1 The Lord took hold of me, and I was carried away by the Spirit of the Lord to a valley filled with bones. 2 He led me all around among the bones that covered the valley floor. They were scattered everywhere across the ground and were completely dried out. 3 Then he asked me, “Son of man, can these bones become living people again?”
“O Sovereign Lord,” I replied, “you alone know the answer to that.”
4 Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say, ‘Dry bones, listen to the word of the Lord! 5 This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Look! I am going to put breath into you and make you live again! 6 I will put flesh and muscles on you and cover you with skin. I will put breath into you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord.’”

Dry Bone is likened to any situation that is dead,any situation that looks hopeless,any situation that YOU have no obvious solution to.
Dry Bone situation is your dead marriage,dry bone situation is that disease that is troubling you,
dry bone situation is that son or daughter that has gone wayward.It is infact any situation that as a man you don't have a solution to.
At a quick glance some few things come out.
God asked “Son of man, can these bones become living people again?”,why?.Obviously God knew the answer to the situation,He also knew that it was humanly impossible for those bones to come back to life.But He still asked,He did not jump into the situation.He just doesn't jump into
your dead marriage.He needs a confirmation of need from you.He wants you to recognise and acknowledge with faith that you have reached your human limit and that He is the only Hope for you.

verse 4
He said PROPHESY.He did not say Hope for,He did not say ask,He did to say plead,He did not say Cry for.
None of those.He said Prophesy,Speak,declare,Decree,Speak into being.As a Christian you should recognise therefore that you have the authority and power to change your dead situation in the Lord's name.You may cry out to the Lord for Help but when He gives you the direction or answer ,you need to enforce the solution using the authority He has given you as His child.You stand on your own feet and command ,speak and order situations to change.Until you recognise who you are in the Lord,you would continue to be as powerless as the any other person.
